Acerca de la Revista
La revista tiene como objetivo ofrecer una plataforma para el debate multidisciplinario, el intercambio y la difusión de investigaciones e información relacionadas con el envejecimiento poblacional en América Latina. Se trata de la plataforma de divulgación científica de LARNA (Red Latinoamericana de Investigación sobre el Envejecimiento), perteneciente al Instituto de Envejecimiento Poblacional de Oxford, de la Universidad de Oxford. We invite contributions from academics, policy makers and practitioners in the region for open discussions, cross-disciplinary debates, including theoretical and empirical research and methodological innovation and development. Contributions around social policies and the roles of civil society are also welcome. Population Ageing in Latin America will also act as newsletter for LARNA, and we invite book reviews, publications, and notices of events, seminars and conferences. Submission guidelines are provided at the end of this issue. Population Ageing in Latin America is published once annually in January. The accepted articles have a peer-review process.
