About the Journal

Anales de Radiología, México. SMRI is the official journal of the Mexican Society of Radiology and Imaging (Sociedad Mexicana de Radiología e Imagen A.C.). The journal is dedicated to serving Mexican and Spanish-speaking radiologists. It is published on a quarterly, online, and open-access basis, aiming to contribute to the scientific knowledge and continuing education of the medical community by providing a channel for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among different radiological specialties. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles in the following categories: editorials, original articles, review articles, clinical cases, procedures and techniques in radiology, and letters to the editor. Anales de Radiología has been a member journal of the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) since 2024, which underscores our commitment to continuous improvement in editorial and scientific quality. This affiliation reinforces the standards of the editorial team and the journal, while constantly enhancing our processes and standards. Anales de Radiología has the honor of participating in the Radiology Editors Forum since 2024, organized by the American College of Radiology (ACR). As one of the most relevant events worldwide in radiological publishing, this allows our journal to consolidate its international leadership.
